By the age of twenty-one, Laura began managing multi-million dollar companies and for thirteen years she served as a corporate Chief Operating Officer responsible for strategic development, budget administration, contract negotiation and workflow reengineering. Throughout those years in the secular workforce, she never lost sight of the vision of being trained "for such a time as this" to function in Christian ministry as a Joseph who had the oversight of the storehouses of Egypt. Laura serves as Chief Operating Officer for The LORD’S Child.

Since the inception of The LORD'S Child, David has purchased the products that are given away at the three annual events and supervised the local fundraising. Raised in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia, he was the oldest of eleven children, seven of whom were adopted, yet it was the hardship of his childhood that prepared David's heart for ministering to those raised in poverty. He and his wife, Diane, live in Sevierville and raise their young granddaughter, Emma.

From the moment April's winning personality started working with The LORD'S Child, her versatility has found a place to serve in multiple departments. She works in the finance department as well as collaborates with the operational team and volunteer force in TLC's annual events, fundraising and other activities. She and her husband, Richie, are Dave Ramsey Certified Counselors and lead Financial Peace University seminars.
