Haiti
The United Nations reported the government has confirmed over 150,000 deaths in four departments (the equivalent of states or provinces) and 609,000 homeless in metropolitan Port-au-Prince. These numbers are preliminary.
The U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization estimates that as many as 1 million people may leave quake-ravaged urban areas for the countryside.
A very preliminary estimate by the Haitian government on what it needs to rebuild the country is $3 billion.
The LORD'S Child will be there to assist in the reconstruction & rebuilding phase of the country of Haiti. Help us be the HANDS of HOPE in the FACE of this TRAGEDY.
