From the Ground Up…

My name is Mubiru David. I live in Uganda. I am 12 years old. My father died in 2003 from HIV/AIDS. I was in primary 2 and I was 6 years old. Life was not easy. I have 2 sisters and 1 brother I am the oldest. Our mother started to straggle for our living and education which was to difficult for her. Our mother got saved at Victory Living Word Church and we started going to this church which is in our neiborhood. The pastor of the church, Makumbi Johnson started paying my school fees togather with many other children in the community. Last year I finished the primary level of my education and I was the best in the whole country. I got four points out of four points and now I am in secondary school and I desire to be a Doctor.

Dear Lord’s Child, America, thank you for extending this ministry here in Uganda last year, I received a matriss. I had nothing to sleep on, every morning I used to wake up with mat marks on my body and I could not enjoy my sleep. Thank you so much, I will help children when I grow up. Pastor Makumbi told us that you took care of our school fees, thank you very much because now we can do examinations. I am that boy you see in a light t-shirt receiving a matriss.
